Dr. Stephanie Creary
Dr. Stephanie Creary is a Management Professor and the Faculty Director of the Relationships Across Differences Roundtable at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Creary is an award-winning scholar whose work examines identity, power, and emotions in organizations, with a focus on how leaders navigate tension, conflict, and change. She studies how trust is built or strained across lines of race, gender, and other social differences, and how organizations can cultivate cultures of accountability and belonging.
Dr. Creary regularly shares her research and applied insights with academic and practitioner audiences and the media. Insights from her research have also appeared in top popular press outlets, including Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, strategy+business, the New York Times, Bloomberg, NPR, Marketplace, and Time Magazine.
For two years, she was a visiting faculty fellow at the Harvard Business School Institute for Business in Global Society. For her contributions to management research and thinking, Dr. Creary has been included in the Thinkers50 Radar Class which acknowledges people whose ideas are predicted to make an important impact on management thinking in the future and received an NACD Directorship 100 award which recognizes the most influential directors and leaders in the corporate governance community.
